2021.09.24 20:18 Fruitcake36 Seeing payments on the app via date
When you click on spending on the app, is there a way to order transactions by date without having to click into 'eating out' and all the other categories? I don't want to click into the 10 categories, to see the transactions for yesterday for example. Is there no way to find a way to see a list of transactions for yesterday in one screen without having to click around into the different categories? Thanks.

2021.09.24 20:18 MightHurtSome Blinking/Flashing LED lights on Playback - Not Florescent Lighting
Night time LED lighting flashes on my Hero-9 recordings (in Greece). I have tried the 50-Hz setting and the 60-hz to no avail. The LED flashing/blinking isn’t visible on the GoPro display, but is very apparent on playback. Conventional florescent lighting doesn’t bling on either 50-hz or 60 hz in a brief experiment. The issue is quite apparent on some, but not all, LED lighting, and is rather annoying.
Looking at the playback of LED lighting from different buildings, the cadence of some LED lighting do not even seem to match (maybe different electrical phase or different LED manufacturers).
Is there a suggested speed setting that can overcome the issue? This is my first GoPro, and I am not too savvy on it’s setup. I have been using it on the auto mode. Due to circumstances I might not see replies for a day or two... Thanks for any suggestions!

2021.09.24 20:18 tropical_rabbit Stay away from the suburbs in Michigan (Part 22 - End)
We drove for a little while and found a couple gas stations along the way to scavenge from. The insides of the stores were pretty messy and it was clear that others had hastily grabbed food and supplies already. But we were grateful we were able to find some cereal, snacks, and other random food. We called out on the walkie-talkies every so often as we drove, but had no luck reaching anyone.
Eventually, we made our way down some dirt roads and into a campground. As we kept driving down the twisty road, we came across a group of cabins. We walked through a few of the ones that were close together and found them to be empty.
Although we knew it would be a tight squeeze, we all wanted to stay in the same place. One of the larger cabins had three bedrooms and bunk beds so we figured we could make that work. We dragged some mattresses and bedding from one of the nearby cabins to make sure we had enough beds for everyone.
No one really said anything. I think we were all still in shock from the events at the fire station. It seemed like it could be safer out here, further away from neighborhoods and where some of the changed people would likely congregate. We all agreed that our big concern here was likely to be animals though.
After we got the beds all setup and put the food in the kitchen, I went outside with Katie and Jared to explore the area. Mrs. Barnes, Jessica, and Trish stayed inside with the kids. Trish was back to normal now. I had been worried that Rick might have given her more than just the sedative, but she was finally talking again so it looked like we were in the clear.
We stayed close to the cabin at first, listening and looking around for any animals or other danger. When we didn't hear anything, we ventured down the dirt road. We passed by some more cabins and checked each one to make sure they were empty. It was actually pretty nice outside and this seemed like it would be a good place for us to stay for a while.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by loud screams and commotion coming from our cabin. We hadn't been walking for that long, but it felt like it was taking me forever to run back.
Katie was outside with Carolyn when we finally made it back. "What happened?" I shouted. "Where are the others?"
Mrs. Barnes and Trish came outside next with their heads down. Where's Allie?" I shouted.
Mrs. Barnes didn't look at me, but said, "She's inside, Jessica is watching over her."
We had checked that whole cabin over before going inside. No one knows how it happened, but it must have gotten in through some hole in the foundation that we didn't see. As soon as it bit her, she ran and closed the door to the room she was in so it wouldn't get anyone else. I'm not surprised that her first thought was to protect the others.
I had quickly taken her with me and found a house not too far from the cabin. Some days it is mostly quiet in here. Others it is not. But each day, I do the same thing. I sit outside her door telling her the same stories I did when things were normal. I talk about her mom and how happy and lucky we felt when she was born. I tell her how proud of her I am and that she saved the lives of the others. I tell her how sorry I am that I didn't protect her. Sometimes I'm met with silence. And other times she slams against the door or the wall. But she never says a word.
A few times when I've looked at her, I could swear there was some recognition in her eyes. But it would quickly disappear...or maybe it was never there and I was just fooling myself. But part of me believes that there is some part of my daughter left inside that mind of hers. She seems to have some of the same food preferences. When I found a way to heat up some cans of soup, she wouldn't even touch the tomato soup, but she gobbled up the Fruit Loops just like my Allie would.
I had held onto hope for a rescue for so long. But now I have come to accept that there will be no rescue...it has been too long and I'm afraid no one out there even knows what has happened here in my area. In the last few days, I've seen the street broken up from the roots and a few houses crumble to the ground. I know it is only a matter of time before it gets to this house. I don't think there are any working vehicles nearby. Besides, even if there were, I don't think any of the roads around here would be safe to travel on anymore. And where would we go? I hope that Jessica, Mrs. Barnes, and the others are still safe.
If you are reading this, please be careful out there and keep a close eye out for any strange or abnormal behavior from those around you. But most importantly, take care of your friends, your loved ones, and your neighbors. If this happens in your area, stay in groups and work together to keep everyone safe and do your best to survive and help anyone that you come across.
My only hope now is that there is still some connection or some sense of awareness when I change, or that a cure is somehow found and we are returned back to how we once were. I'm going to give Allie one more hug tonight after I tell her again the story of her birth and all the wonderful memories I have from the way too short, but awesome time I had being her dad. I'm hoping that once I change, I can still keep my promise of protecting her and never leaving her side.

2021.09.24 20:18 hmhhuq What's the best note taking app for the iPad?
I want an app that allows me to insert images onto the app and draw directly onto the image without having to open some independent editor. For example in iOS notes app I could insert an image but I had to open it and draw and then save the changes. I could not draw directly onto the image and also could not write on either side of the image after it was inserted. Any suggestions?

My homeroom teacher passed away few hours ago. She is a respectable teacher that I really love. I miss her so much, I just wanna talk to her one more time. She is too young to be dead. Too painfull, losses and unbelievable. The COVID-19 has stolen two young children a responsible mom. The last thing, we - your students wanna say “Thank you for everything you did to us.”

2021.09.24 20:18 PerpetualConnection The man I saw through my night vision scope.
I'm a hunter, I like to hunt wild boar specifically. Though I have been deer hunting and have been known to get a turkey for Thanksgiving I mostly hunt boar. For those of you that don't know, boar are a big problem in the United States. A sow can have two litters a year and it's not uncommon for a litter to consist of 10 or more pigs. Given that pigs eat anything and everything it's not hard to see why the department of fish and wildlife makes it legal to hunt them with almost no restrictions. In my state it's illegal to hunt most large mammals with night or thermal vision scopes, with the exception of boar and coyote. I'd been saving for a year, mostly fun money. It's hard to explain to your wife that a scope that costs literally twice as much as the rifle I was mounting it on was worth it.
But I did it, I took it to a range and sighted it in. There was an area that was peppered with boar activity that I knew would be perfect for a night hunt. It was easily accessible with my truck with easy to find spots that I could set up in that overlooked a large easy to navigate clearing. The night started uneventful, mostly me tinkering with my new toy, cycling through the settings. I was a little impatient, I'd spotted multiple deer but they were out of season and like I mentioned earlier, my current set up wasn't legal for deer. I moved to another spot I'd seen days earlier that probably wasn't much better than my first but it gave me something to do and a new angle to look around with my new scope.
After an hour or so of glassing the area it dawned on me. This spot doesn't have much animal activity at all, no rabbit or owls, the deer that I'd seen were hundreds of yards from where I was. Why was this pocket of land so dead at night but lively in the day ? I'd set up around 10pm and it was about 2am when I started to think about packing up, maybe setting up a target before I left. I heard a crunch come from the direction I came from before. I panned my scope over and saw the silhouette of a small bear. It's important to note that my scope isn't exactly "night vision". It's a thermal scope, kind of like a black and white version of what you see in the predator movies.
I adjusted my range and zoomed in a little. I remember jolting a little when I saw that it wasn't really a bear, it was a man. Because he was so low and hunched over I thought I was looking at a young bear. Is that a game Warden ? It couldn't be, I would've seen the headlights coming up the road from where I was perched. And where could he have walked from ? I was 30 miles away from anything and on public lands. I was about to call out when I noticed, he was naked. No shoes, pants or anything. I remember being disturbed by his movements, like a squirrel or something. Twitchy and grabbing at the foliage, sniffing around and palming the tree.
Was that my tree ? The one I'd been leaning against earlier ? The thought terrified me, could he smell me ? Than he did something I still have nightmares about today. He squated and placed his hands in the dirt between his feet and stared straight up like a dog mid howl. And I heard it, a voice coming from that direction, a female voice. "Help ! I'm lost !" There was a long pause but neither of us moved a muscle. The center of my sights was trained at the dirt in front of his feet, I couldn't bring myself to aim directly at another person. Were they lost ? Was this some guy that had gone crazy out here ? Why was his voice so feminine ? "Help ! Please ! I can't walk !" The voice called out. That's when I called bullshit. Not only could he walk, when I first saw him he was traversing the land with ease for a naked person, so good I mistook him for a bear.
That's a fucking trap, this guy is trying to lure me to him with a damsel in destress routine. Luckily the lack of activity before had caused me to pack up most of my gear. I think I may have left behind a hat and a sitting pad but I didn't give a shit in that moment. I took my eyes off him for a moment to get my pack on. I buckled my chest strap and scrambled for my rifle. To my horror, he was in the same position but his face was staring in my direction and I swear I saw smile. How the hell had he heard me get up and put my gear on ? He must've easily been 150 yards away. "Fuck off !," I screamed in that direction. He stood up right and it hit me how tall and skinny he was. Easily six feet and very lean. He took a couple of long strides in my direction and I instinctively sent a round sailing above his head into the treeline. He was freaky as hell but he hadn't really threatened me, what would I tell the cops ?
He stopped dead in his tracks and hunched down on all fours. "The next one will fuck you up ! Go away !" he stayed on all fours and this time I had my sights were on the center of him. His eyes were just above the grass like a large cat or something. I was trying to stop my trembling and knew that my voice had cracked a little on that last warning. I was terrified, that standoff probably only lasted a minute or two, maybe less, but it felt like for ever. In an instant he bolted left towards the treeline opposite the road. So much for not being able to walk, I couldn't keep him in my scope he was moving so fast. He disappeared into the brush and I sent another round sailing high in his direction. I racked another round and tried to pocket that mag and swap for a fresh one, but I dropped it and didn't bother looking for it. I wasn't far from my truck and I wanted to get out of there.
I could hear him in the distace, yelling in this weird sound that could have been a laugh or a cry. I scrambled up the trail and arrived at my truck breathless. I tossed my gear into the cab but kept the rifle in the passenger seat and sped off. For the longest time I told that story from the perspective of having spotted some deranged crack head living off the land like some kind of caveman. I reported it to fish and game but all they did was scold me for hunting at night alone, never received an update. It wasn't until I told this story at a camping trip that my nephew told me about wendigos, rakes, and skinwalkers. My story scared the piss out of him because the spot we were camping was technically the same forest I'd seen the bastard. Just 50 miles east of it.
He was so spooked his mom (my cousin) had to take him home, she was really pissed. I've gone down the rabbit hole one these scary stories, I'm not saying what I saw definitely was a wendigo or a skinwalker. I'm saying that if such a thing exists, I may have dodged quite the bullet that night. Or maybe it was just a tweaker being Donnie Thornberry in the middle of the night. Either way, thought I'd share.
Edit: believe what you like. These are events as I recall them. No I am not a writer.
